I thought this may be of interest to 360 owners.
I had one of my black fobs cloned last week to create a back-up, should one of the two that I have fail. Having neither the pin code, nor the red fob made it impossible to programme a new fob in the conventional way.
It worked perfectly, the only inconvenience being that if one of the cloned fobs is used, its twin has to be pressed a number of times to resynchronize the rolling code before it will be accepted by the alarm system (the cloning process creates 2 identical fobs, the rolling code is generated by the fob itself and not sent from the alarm unit). This is not a massive issue since I only generally use one fob, with the others remaining locked away.
It turned out to be a very cheap way of obtaining an additional working fob. Once the cases are open it takes only seconds to transfer the necessary data across.
For anyone concerned about their lack of working fobs I would recommend it. The process does not involve removing any chips from the fob so there is no danger of harming them.
Feel free to PM me for more details.

This also presumably applies to 355/456/550/575

Did you have to send your fob away (UK or overseas ?) or or was it a while-you-wait type service ?

To be honest I'm not that familiar with the systems on these cars, but I'd assume so.
The guy who did it came to my house, I'm based in the Midlands.
It's obviously possible to get the pin code from Ferrari, although I've heard conflicting stories of how much they charge for this. Also, if the ECU has been changed on the car, Ferrari may not have a record of the vehicle's pin code anyway. The opportunity came to have this done at negligible cost so I went for it.
