Just picked more bits up from the upholsterers this weekend.
I now have had the door panels trimmed in matching magnolia leather. The wood ( enamelled aluminium strips )has been colour coded blue to match the rollbar and the body, The seats have been stuffed with harder, firmer foam, the rear speaker pods are currently being replaced, and im planning over the next few weeks to colour the armrest/ door handle assembly blue to match the rest of the interiour.
Pictures to follow.

Oh, and when I get the car back from Peninsula, I will have to get the wood dash replaced as it cracked last year at Le Mans.

If you go to one of the advertised specialists (back of Mags etc) I was quoted in excess of £2000 for seats, door trims and carpets.

I shopped around, and found a few "local" specialists, one in Newbury, who came recommended, but let me down repeatedly, the second was a company in South Wales. They had the car for 2 weeks, the net result is new carpets, new seat covers(with piping), new head restraints, new door trim covers. Cost .... (Lets just say I did the lot for a shade under £1000) ok, add on fuel, alternative transport etc, plus accessories like new Seat Nuts, new door window seals, a pot of vinyl colourer, new screws, fibreglass etc .. aprox £1100
Next is to cover the inside of the roof in Alcantara style cloth to match the trim, to construct custom speaker enclosers in the footwells, to clean and make good the seatbelt covers behind the seats, and sort out the ICE system.

The key is to know how much you want to spend as a maximum, and shop around.(people that advertise in the mags usually charge a premium.. ok the work is good, but so are the prices. contact boat trimmers and standard furniture trimmers.

for restoration materials, check out www.frost.co.uk , Rimmer Brothers or www.woolies-trim.co.uk.

If you want any info, mail me offline, and I'll give you details of everyone I used.

Constantly being quoted £2500 for a complete retrim in connolly leather (including dash) and full wilton carpets.. even by the boat trimmers etc.. will probably go with the one who has done TVRs before as at least when the dash comes out they should put everything back properly! (hope)
