ECU LOCATION

I am thinking of purchasing a new upgraded chip for my 1992 MK1 Eunos 1.6 but i could do with some help in locating it, i can't seem to find it in the Haynes manual that i have, can't be a difficult job after my TVR Chimaera!!

the ECU is under a panel, under the carpet in the passenger footwell.

I dont think you can actually "chip" the mk1 ecus anyway... pretty much all tuning/turbo kits etc either use a piggyback unit or a full replacement ECU.

Don't waste your cash. Chipping will have no effect at all other than making it even less economical.

As above, where the passenger would put their feet in the foot well.. Silly place, but you know.
