Just some pictures of the latest. Ive owned over 80 cars in my 42 years and as time goes on will probably post some pictures if they are relevant to the thread. Anyway a brief history , decided in December I wanted something reliable , reasonably well specced and with a presence. I had a very limited budget so picked up the 2005 Merc C 180 K Classic SE . Ive had a few Mercs before but never a Kompressor. For the weight of the C Class and the small engine ( In relation to the rest of the Merc stable ) the 1.8 Komp. is no slouch , I was well pleased.
Trim wise and unknown to me the C Class range underwent a facelift 04/05 which incorporated a new style instrument binnacle , and some slight restyling to the front and rear bumpers and side skirts , there may be more.
Its cloth trim which isnt an issue to me , Ive had umpteen cars with leather and its not a trim option that really interests me to be honest.
In buying the car I had the changes in mind , namely window tints , private reg and decent alloys. Any more than that I feared entering Chav territory , I wanted to maintain a grown up and sophisticated look to the car.

Anyhoo heres some pics . . .

Nice n' shiney smile I think the wheels look ok, could maybe do with some small spacers to bring them out a bit, and it needs slightly lowering.

Have you considered de-badging it?

Like it, looks good to me. Sure, nice to have a bigger engine, but I'm sure it does the job nicely as things stand smile
