Can somebody provide me with some help.
I have just picked up a Tissot for little money which is gold plated. I want to have it re-plated as there are some points of wear on it.
From what I understand there is 'gilding' where they use a chemical reaction to plate it (which isn’t that good) and hard plating where they actually cover it in gold?
Can anybody recommend anywhere to do some plating? and how much it costs?
I bought the watch to take apart and have a look instead of ripping my omega apart.
