Over the weakend I had a sort out and found my massive box of Scalextrics.

The track is both new and old style with Controllers , laptimer, new to old track conversion sections, 10+ straights , 20+ corners etc, 2 power units and a few cars (2 Nascars , GT40 , and 2 Vectra touring cars)

it'd be ideal for adding on to an existing set-up.

Never..never....NEVER give your Scalextric away, would you cut your arm off!!!

Mine is hiding away in the loft for Jake when he gets bored with his and wants more track. Ok I will need the adapter to fit the new track. He'll be well suprised when I get it out...(no jokes)

Or totally ignore it and carry on with his PSPweeping

Well I did contemplate a Rover BRM 'track project' but not enough room frown

I'd say a Traxxas T-maxx or HPI savage or HPI Baja

Reminds me, my dad has my old set in his loft. It's from the 60's but the F1 cars need new motors. I did have a Stingray split screen, which as a kid i thought was the best scalextrix car ever.
Will have to dig it all out.

I think the split screen Stingray was a MRRC car, used to have one myself and a lovely MK1 Lotus Cortina. Some of that 60's stuff could be worth a few quid.

I've still got two huge boxes of Ninco track kicking around at home and all my 'tuned' Ninco / SCX / Fly cars from when I used to race at Hillingdon, probably wouldn't be competative these days.

I bought new tyres for all my old cars, as they had gone hard and pickups etc. Shame they dont compare to the speed of the new cars.
