787's in the UK?
Discussion
Are there any (classic?) series in the UK that Mazda 787's that I can go and see? I simply have to experience that wall of sound in person!
Quick summation of my knowledge on this topic.
There is a Group C/GTP series which runs independently and should, this year, be at the Silverstone Classic, Donington Historic Festival and Brands Hatch Superprix. In years gone by this 757 has campaigned and it sounds incredible. I recall it is owned by an American chap caled Jim, though my poor brain can offer no further detail.

To confuse matters, the Masters will be running a short series of races along with their other races. I can't remember the dates off the top of my head but I suspect grids may be small to start with.
There is a 787B at the Musee des 24 Heures du Mans. This picture taken over the 2010 CLM weekend.

Re the TWR connection. Mazda ran the MXR-01 which was an XJR-14 chassis with a V10 3.5L Judd engine. Not much of a Mazda in my opinion. I am not aware that it has any connection with the 7X7 series of racing cars. The TWR WSC95 was, apparently, a butchered XJR-14, but I'm afraid I don't have a chassis number.
Anyone embellish upon my ill-informed ramblings?
