Anybody else looking forward to this? I spent a fair chunk of my childhood on the original Driver, so can't wait for this to come out!

Handling looks...Leery.

Good.

Shame they've brought it into the current day though. I wish they'd just left it in 1974 and given us all kinds of crazy old American metal to play with.

Yup, Handling looked very weird.

I actually fired up the old drivers a few months ago when clearing the loft, could still remember where to go to find the secret mini and charger hehe

I can still remember the first one like the back of my hand.

Haven't seen the video but hasn't the handling always been a bit 'funky'?

From other videos I've seen, I'm not sure if this is a buyer or if it's worth waiting a month for the price to half.

Looks like great fun! I think it'll be one of those driving games that's actually better to play with a pad/keyboard than a wheel

I think this looks quite good to be honest, it looks like there are some good cars included.

I loved the original cloud9.

I can't wait for this game (a change from what I said in Feb!).

I thought it was going to be a disaster after seeing early videos showing the driver swaps but now I think it looks excellent.

And the limited Edition is pretty good too!

shame there isn't a PC version of this Limited Edition

Anyone remember the final mission in the original? Where you had to get the president somewhere or something? Absolutely mentally tttingly hard!

Managed it after 100 odd tries smile

Looks great,

..and yes I remember the last mission on the first one, as far as I can remember the final missions on Driver 2 and 3 were also pretty hard!

I think this looks great. Could be the next game I buy as I've been looking for something to fill the next few months until BF3.

Looks a bit generic, but I played through Wheelman, so I'll probably enjoy it enough. The graphics don't look too hot, though. The more city-based driving games the better IMO.

I thought the likes of Driver (the older ones and possibly this one by the look of things) was more sim like/realistic compared to most other driving games (Need For Speed etc.). Just me? boxedin

I want. smile

There is a demo now and Xbox Live.

some website said:
It’ll feature 3 missions in all, including a race designed to highlight the car-hopping shift mechanic. The remaining missions involve a cop chase and plenty of stunts.
Stuck in work cry Why doesn't Xbox have remote download?

you can do from the xbox website, you just click on the things you want and it will download the second you turn your xbox on.

Really enjoying the Demo. Shift isn't actually bad.
