Last minute holidays

Anybody got any good advice or links for where to look? I have been looking on Teletext but not really sure of other places. Looking for a cheapy all inclusive package holiday. Never done a last minute break so any help or tips would be great.

Looking at cheap breaks just now for April and noticed a lot of places advertise "promo rooms".

On investigation, these are apparently the smallest rooms in the hotel, with no balcony or garden etc.

So watch out if you see a deal that looks too good to be true!

18 Months ago when we looked into a last minute Hol it was only worth it with about 2 days to go. Even then it was maybe only 1/3rd off but I didn't use many of the links above so will have to have a look

Used them recently but I knew exactly where I wanted to stay and they we considerably cheaper than anywhere else.

I haven't exactly been overwhelmed with choice this week. Probably down to the fact that the Canaries is the only sun within 4 hours of the UK this time of year.

I am going to book something in March instead.

It was July 09 when I was looking so there should have been loads of choice.

When it got down to a couple of days to go (ie the window we had to leave if we went away) I felt the mad rush wasn't going to be worth it & thought a big part of going on holiday was actually looking forward to it.

I find there is always more accommodation available than flights to get people there. I can get the same flights as I was chasing this week for 50% less at the end of March.

No brainer, and as you say something to look forward to for a few weeks.
