On Saturday afternoons and midweek nights like this, those of us wanting to watch some football have to rely on on-line streams which originate from europe or America.

Why is this? The facilities now exist to show 6 or 8 matches on one channel (via the red button like they do on Champions League nights) yet when it comes to the Premiership choice is limited.

Why?

Not sure

A complicated rights system?

And/or

Protection of gate receipts? If every *single* match was on TV it might impact season ticket sales, especially at smaller clubs.

I thought they agreed not to show the 3pm matches over fears about ticket sales.
