Popping down to Leicester to watch them against Bath on Friday night.

I've never been to Welford Road before and need some ideas for SAFE parking...I know they have an NCP on the ground, but they told me it fills up early - anyone know how early (7.30 KO).

I'm going down in my decent car so would prefer not to be parked up some back street?!

TIA

Leicester Royal Infirmary is across the road and car parking is at the Tigers Ground end. Again fills up very quickly and is only £2 for 2 hours. Around there the back streets are all resident parking only unfortunatly soits either a fake Morrissons visit or Saffron Lane. Local industrial estate provides parking for Tigers games at a cost (usually less than a £5)

I park on Welford Road south of the ground with a 10min walk. Its a busy road, so you shouldnt have to worry too much about security. If you prefer a car park, there is an Odeon nearby on Freemans common or you could try the homebase about 10mins away.

C-mon Tigers!

It still should be despite a certain 6N's game going on at the same time....

I'm a neutral, so it's win-win for me!

I just rang the club and asked if I could donate to the club for use of a space in their car park....I was met with a resounding NO! - Oh well, you don't get if you don't ask!

I'll try and get early enough for the NCP, just hope the 'B' fits in their tight spaces!

Heh, yes and it would have been an insulted No aswell!

Leicester pride themselves on being a "family" club and dont really do things like that. Parking is always sold out for home games and it is frequently a pain in the arse.
