Cheapest time / place to buy lift pass / ski hire
Discussion
Going skiing in March to France. Is it best to book lift passes and ski hire now or wait until I get there?
Not sure if it would be much cheaper if booked in advance? or sometimes just cheaper to buy there so you don't have to pay any middle man fees or booking fees.
If there is only a few quid in it then i'd just prefere the more convenient route.
Cheers

Disagree absolutely with that last post.
Many resorts have cottoned on to the advance purchase discount model and offer 10% to 20% discounts if you stump up early. The Euro is never going to move this much (again)
A week's ski pass is usually far cheaper than 5 separately bought days, and definitely cheaper than 6 separately bought.
Also some ski schools do deals with discount passes, and I've even seen discounted passes offered by people like Intersport when renting equipment.
Do some digging on websites, Google Chrome as a browser will translate for you if needed.
