Hi there!

Am considering fitting this as new but it appears that it is around 2 years old. Does anyone know if it is due to be replaced sometime soon?

Also has anyone got any experience of this unit particularly in using with an iPhone 3GS or 4.

I currently have an Alpine unit and this has issues with having the iPhone connected via both Bluetooth and the lead. I want to have it connected via lead to control and play music but you cannot use the hands-free this way. However as soon as I connect via Bluetooth it tries to take over the iPod functionality and gets so confused that it won't play anything!

Does the Pioneer cope ok like this?

cheers
Mark

F30 just announced. Out anytime now.

Adds some online services and will probably be newer mapping.

iPhone with Pioneers is fine.

You are a life-saver! I was literally going to order this, this morning!

Do you have any links because I can't find anything about this online?

So my Pioneer dealer tells me it will be June/July time.

I think I will hang on and wait until it comes out.

If anyone has any advice etc on this please let me know.

cheers

Have a look at adding an iO-Play to the car as that handles the iPhone for music and calls all through the car speakers, or you can use the radio/ CD, if a call comes in then the iO unit mutes the radio/ CD and switches the phone handsfree to the cars speakers reverting back to the radio/ CD post call. Easy to connect assuming your existing car stereo has ISO connectors at the rear which most do - Mike

Thanks for this. This is not really what I was looking for.

My new car does have navigation already but it is woefully out of date. I want to install something with navigation really.

thanks
