Tesco nor Waitrose stock this flour which I was very suprised about. I might have to try Asda next.

Any other supermarkets, when I finally get some its going to have a cracking CO2 footprint.

As above.

Try a deli as well, our local always has it in and is usually cheaper than the local Supermarkets which seem only to stock it at random!

I failed to find any in my local supermarkets, ended up buying a pack from a local italian restaurant so might be worth asking around any near you

I know where to get it in London but that's no help to you!

edit: Waitrose has a brand called Alimonti which is Farina tipo 00. It has a white/brown quaint looking paper bag.

You may find it in with the 'posh ingredients' section, rather than the rest of the flour.

I was also trying to make some shortbread as seen on Baking Made Easy, and an ingredient was rice flour. Could't find any so tried to make some in the liquidiser as recommended on the web. Fail. Too chunky. It didn't really matter as the shortbread did not work as the recipe said it would.

Correct, took me ages in Tesco to find it. Walking around, oh let's look in the flour section...... Not a chance, ok let's try the dried pasta section..... Erm no. For some random reason it court my eye hidden away in the special ingredients section, totally where it should not be.

It is also vary rare in other supermarkets.

Rice flour - it's in the special section with ¨free from¨ stuff. Waitrose do it for definite as do Sainbury's.

You really thought a liquidiser would be able to grind rice into flour? now that would be an amazing piece of kit!
