Hi Chaps,
Just thought I'd share a few pics of my build. Just the fuel system, clutch and wiring of stalks to finish... Just about to move house again, so will hopefully be able to finish this year! About time eh?
Whaaaaa...Move again Mart?Just thought I'd share a few pics of my build. Just the fuel system, clutch and wiring of stalks to finish... Just about to move house again, so will hopefully be able to finish this year! About time eh?
Why not buy a caravan?
It would be cheaper?Anyhow, I sympathise...5 years of ...dreaming! Mind you, started mine Jan 2006....and now each time my oldest son who is now in his early 40's (ouch!)visits us he says that maybe I should be thinking about lining the cockpit in white silk shrouds...that way if the build doesn't get finished before I pop-my-clogs it can double-up as a coff.... DAMN HIM! Also, too many hints from my other son regarding Wills and who it will be left to! Just as well then that I am a Prof Will & Trust specialist...I know how to pee them off when I am gone! Heh!
Good to see you are still around...I was beginning to wonder! Coming up sometime? Need some inspiration...and you can laugh/learn from some of my mistakes!

Hello Martin, good to see that you are still alive
Don't worry about the time scale mate, it would seem that a proper Ultima takes at least 5 years to build
I don't know of the reason but there must have been a damn good one for not painting the car the correct hue although I must say that you have chosen a gorgeous runner up!

Thanks for all the comments chaps! Really need to finish her off, but I need a garage first! Priorities and all that!...
Colour is Spectraflair Silver. Pictures don't really do it justice... Out of interest, has anyone fitted a triple plate Super clutch? If so what thickness was your adaptor? My standard Ultima one is too thin... Think I need about another 4-5mm.
