help with corsa?

This 'IS' for a friend. His son has a Corsa and for some reason it wont quite start anymore, it sort of [he says] begins to run but wont quite. Any ideas anyone? cheers.

Yeah, i think that means its probably broken in some way!


(if all you do is ask "why won't my car work" and give no more information it is going to be pretty difficult to diagnose the reason........)

What corsa/engine.

I beleive the Z14/Z12XE have issues with camshaft position sensors, I beleive they could cause these (rather vague) problems

Thanks, I'll find out more today as it's my mates' sons car so info' is second hand [and vague] and I've never worked on one so did a quick post before going out last night 'just' in case there was a common fault with 'em.

He's right though, if you don't give any information other than "it won't start", how do you expect anyone to be able to help diagnose the problem? There's literally hundreds of things that could be wrong.

It'll be the condenser.

Not that we know of as yet, but,,,,? I'll post back for any interested party. His son who owns the car is now learning the importance of regular oil changes. Thanks again mate. thumbup
