I think it is definitely a 98 car, as already said, last year of fog light covers, and last year of those wheels.
Would appear to be a Euro spec car from the side indicators in the hood
Just wondered if anyone knew it, as I vaguely recognised the plate, but so many people have VPR type plates I guess it's just similar to someone elses.

Found it on the, rather persistant fella who keeps turning up trying to get us to sign up to some car show he's organising in Northumberland and telling us about his child being born's website... any idea which area the pic was taken?Thread here:

Early start 
Aha, so that then will be the first GTS I sat in following my brief first drive in an RT/10 (Tonys car) - all at ASC. Stuart kindly let me sit in his after James let me drive the RT and its that GTS that helped convince me to buy my GTS (that and a brief chat with Richard at Goodwood).

Who is Chris? i know the car started life in St Tropez as the log book shows the original owner and I know of 2 other previous owners but it is interesting to find out more. would like to make it to Luton lunch someday but the roads up here are still covered in salt that time of year. maybe the atlantic bbq this year
Chris is a proper US car nut just a few of us have met, he lives north of me and south of you 
he has owned loads of new US imports over the years ive known of him. First met him at SuperCar sunday years ago when he turned up with x6 yellow US cars with his friends driving them in convoy, he tried to buy our steel GTS just weeks before but we got in first
Baz and I bumped into him at a vette show a few years ago and he had a brand new black SRT and a black C6 Z06 which was just out at the time, think he had a lightning there as well
when Paul brought his new ram from ACI a few years ago, i beleive (could be wrong) he said it was a vehicle pre ordered for Chris but he changed his mind and so ordered up another with a different spec, and was their best customer having some x60 cars through them !
He must of owned at least a dozen vipers alone, Mich's viper was also one of Chris previous cars, i last saw him at Autosports 2010
James@Atlantic would love to have him as a client, James has premises now in Edinburgh, so youll have to ask him if he's doing a BBQ there this year

Yep Chris was a good friend of mine and he really wanted a greay Ram so I took his black one from ACI as it was new.
Last time I saw him he had 27 cars at his mothers house he is from Lincoln and is Mr Honda lawn mower in the UK.
Really really nice guy, Phoenix Viper has his silver one.
