Last spring I repainted my bike with 2K paint, then fitted the reprographics, waited about a week and then coated the whole lot with 1K clear lacquer. After about 8 months, I have just noticed very very small sets of bubbles under the lacquer on the tank, plastics are AOK. I have started sanding back with 1200 grit and the lacquer seems to be coming off quite easily in some places but not in others. I think I am going to have to sand back all the original lacquer VERY carefully back to the original 2 pack finish which appears to be fine. 2 questions, what has caused this and if I re-lacquer will this happen again in the future? I only lacquered it to protect the graphics. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Thanks Chris, will I need to remove all the 1K or just the bits with the problems. Will the 2K lacquer cause a reaction with any 1K that's left on?
