Spotted this today

Parked down a side street in town to go and get some food and saw this poking out of a garage...

Don't know much about these, but it was partially stripped, looked like it was going through a restoration. Are they rare?

Noone around to talk to, so couldn't ask any details....

They are still quite common in Germany as a weekend car. People seem to spend more time polishing them than driving. I don't think they are very valuable (yet)
