Hi All, just in case you were thinking of buying a new MX-5, Mazda are offering a 20% discount on all new models, the deal is pretty well hidden, but if you go to facebook and search for "Experience Mazda" you should find it.

I think you have to check into the dealer with Facebook when you're there and show them a discount on the phone.

Fisrt post in this section smile

My missus just took advantage of this offer to bag what must be one of the last Miyako Roadsters. Got a generous trade in value on her leggy and frayed Mondeo too. No faffing about to get the deal - it was stickered up at the discount price.

Hopefuly take delivery tomorrow!

Is it just me, or the light, but the colour match on the bumpers seems a little off to me. Other than that, looks great! O/T - Wonder if you can put the facelight rear light clusters onto an early Mk 3?

I thought that too, but it's just the light I think. I've seen photos of silver cars before where I could swear a panel had had paint but it's been fine in the metal.

That slight shade variance between plastic and metal bits appears to have been an MX5 feature for 20-odd years now!

I'll see what she says, but I don't fancy your chances.

Good to hear, to be fair the Mk2 Focus RS in green was bad in pictures AND in the flesh.

Lovely motor, I'm very jealous - I'm still scheming how I might stretch to an early Mk3 for my next motor.

Just got a new 1,8 Miyako in velocity red. 5K off list.

What a great no nonsense car. My first MX5.

Now I understand what all the fuss is about and the PH tendency to recommend them - even if in jest.

The car does exactly what it says on the tin. No frills, minor luxuries on this SE, but basically a nicely sorted modern ragtop.

Remember folks - those picking up new cars from Mazda still need to get the geo done. They're all to cock from le factoire!

Have they sorted tyre pressures yet? Many people were picking up their MK 3s with tyres that had high pressure.
