make sure your brakes are dry before you tuck her up for a while or take a quick run the next day to get the crap off. i made the mistake of not moving the car for a week after a wash. took 10 minutes to get the front nearside disc moving. on the plus side was a lovely day for a wee hoon

Amen to that, I washed it and left it for 6 weeks before trying to get it out the garage, RAC eventually freed up both front brakes with a long screwdriver and brake cleaner.

Yes, always take it round the block to dry the brakes. And I never leave mine in my garage with the hand brake on either, just in gear.
