White smoke - yep looks like it was the turbo (or part of) that went. My brothers old Punto 1.4T went in a similar way, white smoke loss of power - dead turbo.

You kids on here need to learn a thing or two about cars. First one is: a blown motor is nothing more than an excuse to make it stronger and faster. Second is: If you ain't breaking things, you're not making enough power.
That is the best outlook!

O/T but nothing to see here. Just another pickup driver. hehe

Seriously though, when you see those American clips of police officers being clipped/squashed against cars they've just pulled over, it always seems to be some dozy pickup driver...

hehe, nope it was a Celica if I recall correctly, went bye bye at 110 leptons by all accounts (or so he says) eek

I remember laughing at him when he returned with it on a recovery truck, but then that's what you get for buying a 90,000 mile turbo charged Fiat that has had the hell kicked out of it by a procession of boy racers.

Oh my God, the guy on the cell phone, presumably the owner of the Ferrari, is actually wearing a Ferrari shirt!! biggrin

How desperately sad, normally any Ferrari apparel is the surest sign imaginable that the wearer neither owns, nor will ever own, a Ferrari.
