4 wheel lazer AND geo setup

Currently ripping the back of my TVR Cerbera to bits to change all my bushes and clean my chassis up a but.
Once I have her back together im going to need 4 wheel lazer alignment and setup doing... Anyone know of a good reasonably priced setup? Not some kwik fit monkey, as there are lots of adjustment points on the TVR.

Racing Green + 1 costs a bit but well worth it.
I tried wheelsinmotion but they struggled to obtain the correct settings. Although they did a great job with my bros S2000.

I always use metriyre in Frimley Green now, free check, think its about £40 if they have to make adjustments

I use the one in Woking as nearer, my Jaguar spacialist TLJaguar uses the Hook centre

They have the latest all seeing computerised diagnostics

So YES I would reccommend Merityre

I've used them a couple of times and they seem pretty good, although keep an eye out for the guys moving the car around the yard out the back and onto the ramps as a couple of them seem to be a little throttle happy.

Merityre also have a garage in Bagshot, depending which is closer. I presume its still there, although I haven't been passed it recently.

Looked into racing green and its £150+ vat!.... The reason im doing the bushes myself is to save money so that would almost cancel the saving out.

Try Jason at Str8six, located in Lewknor, just off the M40 at J6. He set up my Tuscan last year and charges by time taken not by a set amount.

Micheldever is a merit tyre IIRC.

99% sure Micheldever has nothing at all to do with Merit Tyres other than probably supplying them - Micheldever are one of the biggest independent tyre suppliers in UK!

I did hear that Micheldever had sold some months ago

There would be nothing to stop the new owners still using the name as it is well known.

How much should alignment cost?

Got a couple of new tyres fitted at Merityre the other week and had the free check - they wanted £115 to adjust three of my wheels as they were out of tolerance...

Not sure how much my local Merityre charged last time but for all four wheels I would have thought it was in the region of £75 to adjust and that was without purchasing tyres

If new tyes bought I'm sure there would have been some discount on that

I use the Hook branch of Merityre for alignment. They use the Hunter alignment machine, which is apparently the best machine for the job. They charged me £37ish for the two wheel alignment and charge something in the region of £75 for the full four-wheel setup.

They seem pretty knowledgeable, although you don't get to see the workshop area as it's round the back, so I have no idea if they're careful with our P&J's!

I've got some wear on the inside of my front left tyre so I'll be popping along fairly soon to have that checked out.

Well Micheldever isn't mentioned on the Merityre website and Merityre isn't mentioned on the Micheldever website. I do know someone who works there so I could ask them if you want the full answer!

£75 doesn't seem to bad for a full 4 wheel setup, half the price of racing green.... Although with racing green I guess I would know it was done very well, as they setup a lot of cars for racing.
Will have to mull it over while the rebuild carries on!

Well I spent £270 on two new Bridgestone Potenza's at the Purley Merityre so NO discount on the alignment by the looks of things.........they did the check and said it would be £115 to adjust three as they were out of tolerance. They wrote the price on the read out they gave me.

They did have a poster in the office saying, 4 wheel alignment FROM £75.

Does it cost more depending what car you have?
