Comedy Truck Ad: A Work Of Genius?

Redneck truck parody actually makes us want to go a-trucking

It's been mentioned in this office more than once that the citizens of a certain country with the letters U,S and A in its name are occasionally guilty of lacking a sense of humour. This YouTube clip proves us wrong.

It's a parody of a whole genre of posturing, macho ads for pick-up trucks, and we think it's utterly brilliant.

But the truly amazing thing is that it demolishes the whole US pick-up truck culture and its redneck customer base with devastating ease while at the same time somehow making us want to go out and buy a Ferd F-Teenthousand.

Genius. There's surely a career in advertising for the chaps behind this little gem...

Brilliant! I worked in LA a couple of times and these two tiny Mexican guys would give me a lift to work in the biggest pickup I've ever seen. It just seemed so incongruous. Make sure you are a big hulk of a man before purchasing I would say. Otherwise your vehicle will make you look puny and weak : )

I feel the running costs may be a bit steep what with the water and horses for the whale as well as the fuel it will use.
