Hi All,

I know there has been a lot of talk regarding fuel consumption and the price of fuel etc! The T5 is absolutely killing me!

So how many miles can you get from a 1 tank fill up to empty (light on)....I know this is subject to the size of your fuel tank.....etc...

So I get 300 miles to a full tank from my C70 T5 Auto cabrio ! Which is about 25mpg'ish...and I hate petrol stations !!!

yikes I used to get a minimum of 250 in my 996 C4, and that was a tip too, and it wasn't driven slowly!

It varies wildly between 320 and 370 for no reason I can think of. It works out at between 29 and 32mpg.

250-300

Closer to 250 when I'm just wanting to get on a bit, and closer to 300 when I'm skint!

Only a 30l Tank so cant complain, but in saying that it is 30l of high octane it takes... frown

My 2.0 Focus gets around 300-350 miles to a tank, though the fuel gauge seems to be developing a fault and is starting to come on earlier and earlier. In the winter my MPG goes down a bit and on my last tank I only got 29 mpg and the only time I really revved the engine was for a couple overtakes!

I opted for the 350-400 range, given the MX5. But my Golf would have placed me in the 600 range.

370-450 from my 200,000-mile-old Volvo 940 TD depending if I'm on a long run or not and how high the boost is turned up. Equates to between 27 and 37mpg. Not great for a diesel, needs another gear for better cruising economy really (70mph is 3100rpm in 5th) The fuel gauge is not broken so I fill up at 350miles on the trip meter.

Around 300 miles - but my tank is 22 frickin' gallons - so pretty piss-poor.

I've always loved how ford can sell horrifically underpowered engines that return horrific fuel consumption! My A3 with almost double the power of your focus will happily do 30mpg!

All 4 of my cars have different size fuel tanks but none of them get me further than 280 miles. The range rover took £111.11 the other week I think this week I'll try for £123.45 biggrin

Noble gets 170-190 miles but the most I've ever put in it is 40 litres, it's usually about 32 litres though

Yup, like the ancient pushrod 1.3 in the Fiesta and KA. 35mpg from a supermini with 60hp....

Just normal everyday mix of driving I can get about 750 from a tank, but if I'm doing constant motorway runs then 850+ is possible.

Car holds 55 litres.

I actually didnt need to buy fuel in January at all, I filled up late December and come last week still had just under a quarter biggrin

About 280 before the light comes on. '02 Accord 2.0 autobox and I calculate a mixed MPG of 27 which is truly disappointing considering the anaemic performance. My old 4.0 V8 LS 400 would get between 20-22 with the same driving and that wasn't short of poke.
