You'd be surprised. Stop providing government (central and local) services in any languages apart from English, Welsh and Scots Gaelic (I'm not even going to start on that) and take all the money saved to fund English lessons for anyone who needs them. Any economic migrant to the UK (and that includes actual or prospective spouses) must take a test to prove they can speak, write and understand English to a good standard. It'll do wonders.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politic...

What British values? like teenage pregnancies, binge drinking, benefit sponging, disrespecting our eldests etc...I am sorry but we have nothing left to offer Muslims who take refuge in their culture of origin to protect themselves and their children from falling into the low life sex charged immoral standard our society has adopted.
We should improve our standards, and rejuvinate the fabric of our society first, before we start asking others to embrace our way of life.

Do you want to live in the UK?
Have you got a skill we need?
Can you read and write English?
Yes x 3?
Great, welcome, you can replace Mr and Miss UK scumbag who have spent their life on the dole and manage to give nothing (they can have your retun ticket to *****istan.
A better Britain, for British People.
(maybe we could create a shanti town on Falkland West Island for the sink hole estates?)

Weird.
We all complain about it, yet our PM says exactly what we want to hear, and we still complain?
Step in the right direction if you ask me.
And this is why we need more regular turnover of governments. It was bad when the tories were there for 4, it was bad when labour were there for 3. The veering of policy is too severe. We all complain about it, yet our PM says exactly what we want to hear, and we still complain?

PM has said f
k all, he said people must integrate.
He might as well have said people must wear red trousers.
What he said means nothing, it will have no impact and no one will care, he could have spent the 5 minutes he thought about this thinking how we are going to pay back what we borrowed without it impacting on those who are unable to avoid the effect.

Yep. Perth council is happy to provide translation for many. Just stick to Polish, and also, let them do the gritting in winter as well.allnighter said:

Some great Daily Mail taglines there, but you are of course completely wrong. There is absolutely no onus on us to improve our moral standards and we certainly shouldn't be forced to do that, or feel bad about it because some other immigrant or religious group doesn't approve. The majority of British people are decent people. We should improve our standards, and rejuvinate the fabric of our society first, before we start asking others to embrace our way of life.
As for values, there are some very well defined British, and Western, values that can easily be identified.
-Fairness and rights for women, not just under law, but also in reality (no duress or community pressure etc). And this extends to everyone - same rules, same privileges no matter who you are or what group you belong to.
-Accepting that British law and punishment is the only form of law and punishment that gets obeyed by all people in the UK, that you cannot have separate legal systems or extra-judicial punishments for religious purposes.
-Tolerance for other people, their rights and their beliefs.
-Respect for British institutions, history and authorities (including flags)
etc
