It's quite a subjective topic. I like the Pirellis, others swear by the Bridgestones.

its running michelin pilot sports at the moment, the front seems to drag on full lock, is this normal on all tyres

Yes - its to do with 'Ackermann effect' and is more noticeable at lower temperatures but the extent is also related to tyre compound

Bridgestones for sure John, the dragging happens with all of them but disappears once they are warm.

Wembley Tyres - their prices defy logic

I had p zeros previously, now bridgestones.

I think the pirelli's were grippier but their wear rate is bordering on comical.

The p-zero's are great for summer trashing, bridge for all year safety.

I've run Pirelli P Zero, Bridgestones RE050 and Kuhmo KU31's on the rear of the 355.

Have to say, the wear rates are comparable on the KU31 and RE050. Pirellis wore faster.

In terms of grip, I tried all of them at North Weald and the KU31's gave the highest levels of grip on the high speed cornering, then the RE050 then the P Zero.

Plenty of people turn up their nose at the name, but the KU31's are the best of the bunch in the testing I've tried myself.
