Battery charging socket....

Hi,

I am looking to wire in a socket for the battery charger somewhere inside the front of the nose, near to the horn. I presume the wiring for the horn, indicators etc runs inside the inner and outer wings. Would I gain suitable access to this area by removing the inner headlamp access cover? I'm hoping to be able to run a draw wire from the passenger footwell or is this wishful thinking?

no idea on cable routing.... but should be doable, as a mate done this on his cerb... with connector in nose air intake/vent area

Just connect to the alternator mains and find a suitable ground.

Hadn't considered that. Sounds easier than trying to get a direct connection on to the battery.

or just run some cables up through the wing above the battery and drill a hole in the upper surface of the inner wing and fit a rubber grommet to prevent leaks. Mine has the cables and a connector running through the inner wing just near the wiper motor and that works well
