Stratos Supersite - trouble posting

Have seen discussions of the various Stratos kits here, and wondered if anyone here can help me get on the Stratos Supersite?
I joined several weeks ago, managed the registration process OK and followed the confirmation of email address part. I can log in, just fine. But I'm permamenently stuck with the "55allgold, you do not have permission to access this page" whenever I try to post a reply. Seems an admin has to flick another virtual switch before I can post. Sent an email to the admin via the site's Contact Us link, but have heard nothing (maybe that just ends up in an unused email account?).
Anyone here got an inside track and able to help out? TIA
