Hi,

I have recently bought a 1986 3.2 Carrera with Cup alloys. It's a long story but the dealer ended up finding this car for me specially and they have subsequently spent a fair bit of money on it both getting it ready for my purchase and in warranty claims (enough to remove all profit I think).

The alloys that it has are catching the lip of the wheelarch at the front, and the dealers say that the spacers are permanantly attached to the wheels and the lip would need to be rolled to alleviate the problem. I am sure that there are different sized spacers for these wheels. Am I mistaken?

Thanks,

Dom

Where is the best place to visit for spacers and advice? I don't know what the offset etc. is at the moment, so I would like a mechanic to advise me rather than order something from pelican parts or similar and find it to be wrong...

Wheels do come in a large number of offsets. However if the standard offset on the wheel is too large you are stuffed. You can't add negative offset.

dom, Colin at 930 motorsport, he helped me out with a spacer problem. Recommend him highly. His number will be in P post or 911 & PW

Good luck
