headlight bulb spec?

ordered some replacement powerbulbs by entering griff details into their website and they duly sent out the bulbs....only they are different to the ones in the car. The ones sent are h4 ...anyone know what they should be?

Checked and you are indeed correct - H1. Been back onto the supplier and they are exchanging the H4 bulbs and up-dating their website so it doenst happen to others!

Took a while to explain that there are separate side light bulbs, dipped beams bulbs (H1) and separate spot lights for the high beam on the Griff...

Pete can you let us know the brand of bulbs you fit for the dipped beam lamps and what your impression of them is. I read somewhere Halfords is doing a promotion on "extra bright bulbs" and I am tempted to try them, as I could certainly do with better lights...been thinking about it for 13 years!

My griff has the Halford brighter bulds I also put them in the main beams as well , they are a improvement but nothing to shout about, If you need to change them they are the better than standard..
