Triffic film, ace performances across the board, Amy Adams' nips are briefly visible and the title song is the monster How You Like Me Now by the insanely underrated The Heavy.

Saw this on Saturday night. Likewise thought it was really good. Amy Adams doesn't leave much to the imagination, but just enough wink Bale was brilliant and its perhaps the first time i've thought Mark Wahlberg was decent.

Tend to like Wahlberg for some reason, think he's underrated (although he wasn't great in The Departed...although, controversially apparently, I fail to see why that film got such high praise full stop).

Wasn't expecting to like The Fighter as much as I did, and the only thing that did bug me a little was the lack of age gap twixt Bale and Wahlberg.

I would argue that that was his only decent role..

Agree, thought it was a great watch. Bale just annoys me although her performance here was good.

Wallberg was good again, I agree quite underrated and always enjoy films he is in. But then I am known for my poor taste in films!

I saw it on Saturday. I thought that Wahlberg gave a pretty pedestrian performance, but Christian Bale was very good.

I think that it could have been a much better film with a different (more believeable) lead actor.
