I cannot believe that Holywood has remade this John Wayne classic.

However the trailer and people involved in the film look interesting and the reviews are good so far.

I hope it has the 'One eyed son of a bh' scene, the end of the trailer looks like it does.

It's ok. Nicely made, good acting and script but it's a plodder.

I felt that everyone was too smug about being in it that they forgot to act in some charisma.

The John Wayne film didn't follow the book, the new one does follow it more closely apparently.

I agree. It started off well but I got the feeling they all thought it was going to be great regardless, the last 20 or so mins just felt lazy to me and it kind of felt like any ending would do.
