Time for my 156 V6 SW to go!

Its sad but after 6 years its time for my much loved 156 to go. I'd like some advice on options as I've heard it could be worth more as parts than in running order. It has a full years MOT good Yoko tyres, 116k miles, new clutch 2 years ago, nice Met blue with grey MOMO but if I'm honest the whole car is a bit on the tired looking side.

What can I expect private sale and trade in etc... or should I break her up for parts on ebay?

And when was the cambelt last done/next due?

I bought my X plate one (same colour by the sound if it too) for £3k in October 2006. Looking around I'd say £1500 - 2000 now in reasonable nick.

However, they don't come up very often and they are desirable by those that love them and know what they are. So you may attract more interest than you think and artificially push the price up that way. (had that happen unexpectedly on a couple of my previous cars)

Its a 2001 (51) and had a cam belt at 60K.
