So anyone else locsl into RC stuff, just picked up a Traxxas Slash 4x4 which is pretty quick.

Might have to arrange a Local PH RC meet if enough interest?

Cheers,Jon

Have thought about it but the cost seem high if you get it wrong.. Also the aircraft will be out while you repair the bloody thing.

One of my mates has just built a large heli, was trying it his garden and said was like having a massive leaf blower, before it even got off the ground. He landed it quick smart as Garden is way too small to fly it. He has just purchased a smaller one (cheaper) to practice flying with. He needs to find a good location to fly them without too many things to hit!

On the RC car front, I have read there is a good track near Slough Rugby club for offroaders. Also Taplow have an inside track, although that may be a bit serious for me, as I just wanna see how quick it goes and how far it can jump biggrin

I am on the hunt for a 3s Lipo to get the 65mph top speed on the traxxas.... although only had it since Jan and already have 4 new wishbones wink

Sounds like we may need a new thread to organise a meet then...
