Siren and wiring.....................

Hi - posted up a few weeks ago with an immobiliser problem - thanks to all that helped!!!!

Got her started, called Carl Baker at about 9.30 in the morning and asked the cheeky question "can you do her today?". He moved some stuff around and said yes - a 2 hour blast down the A34 and a left hand turn and all sorted in 4 hours - new T1 immobiliser fitted, wiring loom issues resloved and all very neatly and superbly done. Carl is a euperstar!!!

However, it appears my siren and wiring from siren back to the immobiliser is useless!!! Firstly, does anyone have a siren from a T1 they would like to exchage for beer vouchers, and secondly any tips in replacing the wiring in between the outer and inner wings? Apparently it is the devils own job to do it!

last week Carl and I managed to replace my loom in the front wing by taping the new one to the end of the old one and carefully (hence 2 people!) feeding it through from the front into the dash. It was originally quite entangled with the lighting loom under the nearside pod.
Carl is a top bloke. Very knowledgeable about TVR's.

Kevin, make sure you obtain the wiring with the siren as the plugs at each end are not common and you would have to work out the connections. Only 3 from memory but if you got them wrong could blow something.

Thanks Biggles and Loubaruch - Carl didnt have a T1 Meta siren, unfortunately - and good advise ref the commonality of the plugs.
