For those of you who find Top Gear a bit light on facts, here is a frankly stunning pair of Equinox documentaries following Keith Duckworth designing his V6 Turbo F1 engine.

Thank you what amazing programs, quite surprised how much the F1 team let them film. It's the lack of programs like that and the steady stream of The Only Way is Celebrity X-Factor in a Jungle programs that has caused such a massive depletion in the engineering talent of this country.

I can't access You Tube at work to post a link, but another one worth watching is Horizon following Williams in the early 80s - I think it's around 1982. It's quite easy to find and is in six parts. It's generally about F1, and features some good footage of the DFV as well. A search for "DFV Williams" should find it.

Very glad I stayed up and watched both last night now though.
