Loving the comments on the story, they're right about the road surface, Putney bridge would be more like a Roubaix.

Yeh I don't reckon Cav's got a sub 60 RP3 in him hehe

Do you think they would mind if we painted some words of encouragement (sp) on the roads around Richmond Park ?

Looks like it goes pretty much down my road too... does this mean the roads are going to be resurfaced? because they will need mountain bikes on some of the roads around Walton on Thames otherwise!

Good question.

Certainly a lot needs to be done to that course.

Can you imagine 10 hill repeats of Box Hill, would be a killer!

Does anyone know the exact roads they're using?

The map doesn't have a lot of detail on it.

Really?

What road are they using to get from Richmond Park to Kingston?
What road are they using to get from Molesey to Walton and on to Weybridge.

There are no road numbers on that map. Even the A3 isn't shown.

Oh and also it it utterly unclear what is going on at Box Hill. Looks like they come through Dorking then go up Box Hill via the zig-zag road. Then come back down via Headley to the big roundabout near Leatherhead but then the arrow shows them going back south on the A24 through Mickleham back to Box Hill. What is going on there?

Oyster -

They're obviously going right through the middle of kingston, I'd imagine they'll close the one way system and they'll go straigt over the bridge round by Gala bingo past tiffins, up kingston hill and in there.

Molesy to walton is the road that goes through hurst park byt that new tesco, over a couple of roundabouts and comes into walton by the crossroads.

So, compared to the women, the men's race just does an extra 7 laps of box hill? That's a bit mean!
