Just had a quick look at MSV's site and there are no Open Pitlane Events at all for Oulton Park - whilst there are plenty for their other circuits.

There is 1 sessioned novice day and 2 drifting days and that's it.

Is it just a glitch or are there no open Pitlane events there this year?

There are plenty of days by other providers though. It might just be that they're limited to the amount of days they can run by the locals, and there may be more profit in selling the day than running it themselves.

I went to a MSV open pitlane trackday at Oulton last friday. There must have been 20 cars there tops! Great for people on track but not so great for MSV. Maybe Oulton Park isn't very popular anymore? I think it's one of the best tracks out there.

Maybe it's time for Mr Palmer to lower the prices to make a full house as the cost of tyres, fuel, etc is rocketing and i personally will be doing less days because of the overall costs.

To be fair, Oulton on a weekday in the first week of February is unlikely to ever be a best seller unless the price is crazy.

As suggested above, Oulton is a popular hire by the other TDOs and MSV will tend to hire it out first and then fill any gaps with their own trackdays.

It's very expensive so perhaps it wasn't working for them? It seems to be a venue where you can get an open pitlane day cheaply but there'll be about 80 cars or you pay more and get 50 cars.
