TVR press pics.
Discussion
I did post a similar thread in the TVR section about this but I thought I'd try here too!
When TVR still sold cars, they obviously had a number of images produced for ads/press etc. These images crop up in computer wallpaper sites...
My question is; does anyone know the agency/company that dealt with this kind of thing, that would have access to print quality versions of said pics [the 72dpi wallpaper versions aren't what I'm looking for].
Cheers for any help

Mmm not sure now who you'd even contact about this.
Yes, Ian and Simon did this back in the day, then Cypher. I thought Waveform had the most recent stuff (they might have even been the same people as Cypher), but they went belly-up a while back and all TVR stuff they held has since disappeared into the ether.
You'd probably be best off contacting the TVRCC or appealing to TVR owners for their best shots. Press shots are always nice but at least that way you will know where you stand with regards to I.P.
Best not going knock over that little hornets' nest.

Use the power of Linkedin, you might be able to find one of the people you're after?
Could this be the manCheers for all the suggestions guys
I have actually been in contact with Dean Smith already as I spotted an amazing Sagaris pic of his on Flickr. I'm hoping to be able to use this for future projects but there's one press photo in particular that fits perfectly with something I'm currently doing, which is why I'm trying to locate the original source.
I believe my client had already contacted the TVRCC but no luck

Sounds a dead cert
Ian may have taken the photo's, and he might even still have them somewhere on record, but I very much doubt he owns the copyrights on them, so if they are less than 15 years old he may not be able to help.
Seriously; I'm just trying to save you wasting your, and others', time as I do have a fair idea what I'm talking about on this.
to the OP: As you are a graphic designer you should be able to generate some nice images of your own (possibly with the help of owners on here)
...the rest of us have to.

You could even hire a photographer to take the photos. Press stuff is normally boring anyway.......the rest of us have to.
