Been lurking on this forum for years so i figured id do the right thing and sign up and introduce me and my car smile

Im 18 near Dudley and owned my Mini about a year and a half, its become a bit of a rolling project...

Work Done:

Boths sills replaced.

New Rear Subframe.

Patches welded in boot and arches

Gaz adjustable shocks at the back with adjustable height suspension

New Disks and Pads upfront

Whole new brake assembly at the rear

New Handbrake cable

New Cobra classic seats

Different steering wheel

Got rid of the steelies for some tatty Minilites (currently refurbing some revolites)

Lowered at the rear (summer will see the front done)

Fitted a radio and two speakers under the rear seats

Removed the wheel aches for a more classic look

Black grill

Adjustable tie rod bars up front

Adjustable camber/caster/toe brackets on the rear

Here is how it stands right now.

Black door is due to being hit by someone, got a new door thats currrently being preped for paint.
The new sill also needs pulling out by chopping the door step....So annoyed

Those are the only photos on my flickr right now but il update it with some better ones soon.

Plans are:
Sort the accident damage.
Grind back areas underneath the headlights as its starting to rust and treat and paint.
Fit new arches(group 2's) when the wheels are refurbed

Thanks smile

Its a load of fun in the corners, straight lines are erm, a bit dull as its only a standard 998cc

I use it Daily tho so its mechanically always on top form.

Just needs finishing up cosmetic wise now!

Nice little motor, almost a shame it cant be used as a second car and kept looking tatty. For some reason i really like it the way it looks.

Ideal 1st car (and second, third etc!). I've never had a Mini per se, although I did have a RHD Innocenti 120L, which wasn't far off a Cooper S with a hatchback body on it - looked like the b*stard offspring of a Yugo and a Renault 5, cute as hell, quick, and (sadly) rusty - sold it to an American who had it shipped back for full restoration - I wish I still had it!
