Does anyone know if there is any of the spacesaver spares from other BMW's that will fit an E46 M3?

I dont feel confident on a long journey if I had a puncture miles from anywhere and had to rely on the puncture gel.

Any help or advice will be welcome.

Cheers

I have the same problem, especially as I'm off to Europe this summer.

Reading online some people suggest the 330 space saver fits over standard M3 brakes. Can anyone confirm this?

Alternative is to sling an 18" M3 wheel in the boot.

Hi Andrew,

I did have a 330d spacesaver that I had in the boot of my M3 for longer trips and euro hoons. I believe that it's the only E46 spacesaver that fits as it's 17". I bought a jack for £10 from a local breakers.

Cheers

In the case of a front tyre failure can't you put the space saver on the back (over the smaller brakes) and the undamaged alloy from the rear onto the front (over the larger brakes)?

I'd be surprised if the standard car space saver wouldn't fit over the rear M3 brakes.

^^

A rear on the front will clear the disk fine, however the wheel/tyre will stick out of the front wing.

Also with a space saver on the rear, depending on the actual rolling cirumference of the space saver, it may not do you LSD any favours.
