Bit of a controversial posting for you Italo? The DRB 540 Cobra is a new cobra inspired by the Ford Concept Car of 2004.
Well, I'll start this off with a controversial reply - I think this should rest where it is - down under!
The Ford was still-born, to me for very obvious reasons. The DRB may work as a automotive package - but IMHO it offers nothing new or in the least bit exciting from a styling point of view. No thanks.

I like the styling and living in the country it is from which also happens to be a country that it is getting to the stage where it is bordering impossible to get a kit car on the road I am very interested in the fact that it is a single donor vehicle which should mean no trouble with the relevant markings, noise, emissions regs etc.
Not sure about the pricing though. The blurb reckons $50-$60K on the road but what appears to be a very complete kit and a single donor amount to half that. Where does the rest go?!
The magazine artical linked off it reckons it weighs 1350KG, seems quite weighty to me but that car does have the chunky Ford wheels a full interior and an auto box. If I was building one it would be in trackday spec so would have no interior and a manual box.

You need to see it in the flesh, it looks like it would weigh that much easily. Not sure about the pricing though. The blurb reckons $50-$60K on the road but what appears to be a very complete kit and a single donor amount to half that. Where does the rest go?!

It's not ugly but by no means good looking either, it's a bit bland really.
