Does anyone know any mobile auto electricians that would specialise in Renault, namely Clios please?

Louise's immobiliser is playing up and will not let the car start. Using the spare key makes no difference so I don't think it is anything to do with the key.

We are quite happy to lose the immobiliser, we just want the car to start!

We have one option to send off for a bypass electrical doofer, once I find a UV light to see the supplementary key No, apparently hidden on the inside of
the key but wondered if there was another easier way.

Thanks smile

Have you tried re-programming the key?

My guess is a new key needed, they "lose" their codes sometimes

But if it was the key, surely the spare key would work?

Give Shane Cooper a call, good mate of mine and may offer some words of wisdom or come out to sort it if need be.

I have heard of spares being put away in drawers for years then when they are got out they no longer work due to having "lost" their code too. Has the spare ever been tested?

Thanks for the additional input guys. Lots to go at when I get a spare five minutes... after putting the offer on the house in two months ago... they have just asked if I can find storage, pack up and move out in ten days! er, No!
