Ice Warning light.....

In case you haven't noticed, we've had some serious ice problems recently.... Or at least that's what my 98 Chim keeps telling me!

Any ideas what might be causing the Ice Warning light in the middle of the dash to keep flashing on and off? What can I do about it? It's easy enough to ignore over the summer, but I don't want to get complacent about it, as it would be rather useful to trust it come Winter....

Its an early warning system.........about 6 months early.

Actually i have noticed it is warming up now.
Its now longer under 2C. During the recent sunny days mine was suggesting it was only under 4C!

Even TVRs go at an open loop traction control system has failed! (But we dont mind )
