Late engine cover on early type ?

Does the overall type "S2" fit on my car ?
fixings don't Look at same place but some are rotten & broken already

Is it an improvment in cooling figure ?

could be a cheap upgrade

I'm sure you could make it fit with some drilling and rivnutting. I think it would be more hassle than its worth.

I've driven mine many miles with this cover (which I think a lot of Peeps call the 'F1 panel') on and off.
Without: Ran about 6 degrees cooler when moving freely on an open road. No apparent difference in town traffic.

Don't know about fixings but I think things like Windscreen Washer fill point are different and maybe the dipstick indentation so probably not worth the hassle (and extra work) to resite these.
