Help please! Spare multi plug in engine bay!!

Hi all

I have just fitted 125 amp fuse, the mod GV sudgested, and removed the air box completely to gain good access to fuse holder.
Now, when i went to refit the lower half of the air box i cought a glimpse of a multi plug with black lead with yellow shrink wrap on it on the bulkhead end of the engine just hanging down level with the head not cable tied or anything, just hanging down loose. Now ive looked everywhere for it to plug into and cant find a sensor or anything for it to plug into. I cant remember removing it at all, in fact i know i didnt but i just cant see if it fits into anything.

An ideas anyone??

Chill!

The loom is off another vehicle and not TVR specific there are many 'unused' plugs if you go looking. 2 by the fuel rail (knock sensors) I have one in each side of the front wings for the lights and I found another 2 random plugs under the centre consol on Sunday, god knows what they are for.

Thank you very much for yr help! Im glad of that cause its like when you get to the end of a job and find you have bolts and screws left, you spend the next hour hunting around like a fool trying to remember where they went!

No worries. I think the loom came from the BMW parts bin. When I find a random plug 'hanging about', I put a piece of red tape on it so I can ignore it next time I see it

When I'm bored I like to just connect these spare plugs to anything I have in the garage, the oil heater, the trickle charger, the angle grinder

I thought the very same thing when I first got my car, just cable it securely out of the way and forget about it.

Right, just chatted with a mate who's in the know with all things TVR and he pissed himself when i said i i didnt know what i hadnt reconnected!

Anway new 125amp fuse fitted, new battery fitted today and she runs perfectly!!!! Well chuffed!!!
