Exide Maxxima 900DC and a Sagaris...

Hello!
Has anybody fitted this batterie to a Sag or a Tuscan?
I heard about fixing problems, caused by the missing socket at the bottom.
So, I'd like to know more about that, before I lift it up and dismount the front wheel...

I just looked at this battery online. You may have a problem with both the height (tight fit) and the lack of clamping capability at the bottom of the battery. Without the battery being clamped in place it will slide around within it's 'tray' during hard cornering/braking - not a good thing.

Fitted an ABXAGM model AX D26R Battery from performancebatteries.co.uk into my T350 and it fitted like a glove and clamped in using correct fittings. Unlike the Varta I took out that was wedged in. Believe the Sag is the same box size.

Expensive at just shy of £100 but is a 750amp battery (biggest you can get in that case size) and was delivered the next day charged up ready to go. Don't go with the usual Halfords rubbish, they don't fit.

Thanks, just what I need, my car and the battery are 5yrs old now so need to pre-empt any problems.

Thanks guys, will check that battery. The Exide Maxxima sets around 170.-GBP, so 100.-GBP for the same type would be perfect!
