I'm on the brink of selling my watch to guy who emailed me about it.
He's suggested meeting face to face in town.

What should I do?
On the face of it a straightforward deal.... I've handed over £10k in cash before for a car one on one at a bloke's house....but for some reason I'm getting a bit gittery...
The guy has not posted on the website where he found me (yet). He joined 3-4 days prior to his first (too low) offer.
I'm just wondering whats stopping him grabbing the watch and legging it (other than me) and how do I know the notes he hands over are not fake?

I recognise that he could be thinking the same thing, "Whats stopping me running off with his cash and/or that the watch is fake...

Am I over thinking it? or is there a better more recognised way...

I sold a car once where the buyer paid me £20k in cash!

I agreed to meet him at my Bank and did the whole transaction such as filling out V5 in the bank, in full view of their cameras. Both the buyer and I were therefore comfortable knowing that the bank's security would protect us both. Plus I paid the money straight in before I handed over the V5 so I was not walking down the street with a wad of notes (or fakes!)

Meet at a bank, and get the money paid in and checked.
Hand over the watch then, and have an accomplice "Ecclestone" him outside later.

Is yours the PAM that was on here and TZ?

I thought it seemed a good price and was surprised it hung around as long as it has done to be honest.

Try work hours, weekdays - I think the host checks individually.

Nice place, and the members seem pretty decent. Kinda like our own wee place here, actually hehe

However, some of the rules are nuts. I mean, for example, if I'm logged out, I can access and read the "mods & wreckers" forum, yet if I sign in, I can't access it at all because I don't have the requisite number of posts yet.

Cue me banghead
