Hi to all on the forum new boy on the block and today took possession of my first TVR and Cerb, next a big thanks to Bob (PURSYLUV) for selling me his 4.5 LW (not proper one i know) after months of research.
Bob delivered her to my door this morning and then i gave him a lift to work, tears rolling down his cheeks(face) as i razzed off.
220 miles later cant stop grinning 82yr old mother wants one with an auto box!! 12yr old daughter wants lift to school, girlfriend wants new sunglasses for posing in car.
Highlight of the day 3 young schoolkids run to side of car whilst waiting at traffic lights shouting "OH MY GOD A REAL TVR" you got to love the youth of today
Its my retirement present after 30yrs driving fast Senators/Rover 827(ha ha)/ Volvo T5/ Sierra Cosworth/scoobys/evos/BMW 535 and the like.
What a car awesome fun and now those nice Raceproved people are forcing me to get some big bore plumbing/short induction and a crazy dude called joolz to re map it and i thought the sat nav was up to date.
Bob will be first to know the scores on the doors then i will let you all know how it went and how she goes.

i arranged pit access for Bobs car at work last year, ( Bob you still owe me a pint
) and a i can safely say the chassis is mint and the engine is good,
but if your gonna start chasing horses you may consider getting a high flowing exhaust for it. i know the car sounds awsome at the mo. but them sports pipes are not quite up too the job for releasing more power.
But good luck with it, and keep us informed on the upgrades and gains you make

REALLY don't want to be teaching anyone to suck eggs, but having come from a line of cars similar to yours, just watch out for the "limits"; can be unforgiving compared to some more normal motors... Ease yourself in there

t myself when you took me for a ride, John just looked at me and calmly said , "it picks up well doesn't it", talk about driving Miss Daisy Now people be nice to me TVR virgin !! 300 miles in 2 days left phone and wallet on roof yesterday ( muppet) can say I phone4 sticks like a limpet horns tooting people waving must like Cerbs in Castleford, no your phones on the roof , bugger no wallet, nice person saw it fall and handed it in to shopping centre.
Faith restored in humanity at last. Sorry not oldest Cerb owner less than 50 and will take it easy ish... Car now at Raceproved I am in Norfolk for the week fishing (sorry) will update ref mods but big bore exhaust is being fabricated first and yes I love the car already.
